As the third child and youngest son of seven-time Winston Cup champion Dale Earnhardt, Ralph Dale Earnhardt Jr. was born to race. And that he had done-- no only driving, but winning. No matter the weight behind his name, Jr. is more than the child of a legend. He has two Busch Grand Nationals Championships under his belt, one in 1998 and the other in 1999, and has proved himself to be an asset to the Dale Earnhardt Incorporated Winston Cup team in 2000 and 2001. He has a sponsorship contract with Budweiser through the 2004 season. But "Little E" which he is known as, is more about racing, speed and cars.

He loves computers -- he even created his own racing game -- and music. Jr. says he enjoys songwriting, and he also plays both guitar and drums. He can often be found hanging out with his friends. When asked about his musical influences, Dale Jr. cannot peg a specific genre. He listens to everything, but his favorites include Pearl Jam and Dr Dre. Jr., raised by his father after his parent's divorce, was close to his dad. He has settles in Mooresville, N.C. His home is a short distance from the home of his step-mother Teresa and little sister Taylor Nicole.
